About the Speaker:
Kathy Curatolo is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Lobbyist for the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) and the Collier Building Industry Foundation which is the philanthropic arm of CBIA. She retired in 2021 but continues to serve as a legislative consultant on a part-time basis.
Kathy is a graduate of Leadership Collier, Class of 2001 and Leadership Institute Class of 2002. She was elected to the Collier County School Board 4 times from 2002-2016, serving as chair three times. She has served on numerous local and community boards and committees since moving to Naples in 1997.
As a founding member of the Youth Leadership Collier, she was honored by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce as one of five “Volunteers of the Year” in 2006. She was named by Florida Weekly one of the “Power Women of 2014” for her professional and volunteer efforts in Collier County, and one of Naples Illustrated 20 Leading Ladies in 2017.
She holds a B.A., M.A. in English and certification in school district administration. Kathy is the oldest of seven children, six of whom live and work in Naples, Florida. She and husband, Anthony have been married for 50 years and have 2 grown children.
